1. Who we are
Aimbigtech ("we," "us," "our") operates the website aimbigtech.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit the site, subscribe to our newsletter, or interact with our content. Our contact details are on the Contact page; for privacy-specific requests, use privacy@aimbigtech.com.
2. Information we collect
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Usage data | Pages visited, time on page, referring site, device/browser type, approximate location (city-level, from IP) | Automatically, via analytics (Google Analytics 4) |
| Contact information | Email address, name (if provided) | Newsletter signup, contact form |
| Cookies & tracking identifiers | Affiliate click tracking, ad personalization identifiers, session cookies | Automatically, via cookies — see Section 4 |
| Communications | Content of messages you send us | Contact form, email |
We do not knowingly collect payment card information — purchases you make through affiliate links happen on the vendor's site, under the vendor's own privacy policy, not ours.
3. How we use this information
- To operate and improve the site (understanding what content is useful, fixing broken pages)
- To send the newsletter you've opted into, and respond to messages sent via the contact form
- To measure which affiliate links and ad placements perform, so we can prioritize covering the tools readers actually want
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security issues
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Where "sale" or "sharing" is defined broadly under California law to include certain advertising-related data transfers, see Section 7 for your opt-out rights.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them for:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function (e.g., remembering your cookie consent choice)
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4, to understand aggregate traffic patterns
- Affiliate tracking cookies — set when you click an affiliate link, so the partner vendor can attribute a resulting purchase to us; these are set by the vendor or their affiliate network, not by Aimbigtech directly
- Advertising cookies — used by our ad network to serve and measure ads; these may enable personalized advertising unless you opt out
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where legally required, we present a cookie consent tool on first visit for non-essential cookies.
5. Third-party services we use
| Service | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Traffic analytics | Usage data, approximate location, device info |
| Newsletter platform (e.g. Beehiiv/ConvertKit) | Sending the newsletter | Email address, open/click data |
| Affiliate networks (per our Affiliate Disclosure) | Commission tracking | Click and referral data, no personal identity shared beyond what's needed for attribution |
| Ad network (e.g. Ezoic/AdSense) | Displaying and measuring ads | Usage data, advertising identifiers |
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policy in addition to this one. We choose providers with their own compliance commitments, but we don't control their systems directly.
6. Your rights — EEA/UK visitors (GDPR)
If you're located in the European Economic Area or UK, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; restrict or object to certain processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (such as newsletter emails or non-essential cookies). To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@aimbigtech.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Your rights — California visitors (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it's used (this policy), request deletion of personal information, opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (as those terms are defined under California law, which can include certain advertising data flows), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To submit a request, use privacy@aimbigtech.com or the form on our Contact page.
8. Data retention
We retain newsletter subscriber data until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings. Contact form submissions are retained as long as reasonably needed to resolve the inquiry and for our records thereafter, unless deletion is requested.
9. Children's privacy
Aimbigtech is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@aimbigtech.com and we'll delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold, including working with reputable, security-conscious hosting and service providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
11. International data transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.
12. Changes to this policy
We'll update the "last updated" date above when this policy changes, and post material changes visibly rather than silently.
